How do I know my pup is healthy ? I've shown to vets and hey said he looks fine but a vet in our neighbourhood told me he is sick and will get weak ( without giving me more details ) He is definitely gaining weight . He doesn't vomit , he's very active . He's quite choosy in eating still eats . 2 months - 6lb 3 months - 9lb 4 months - 12.8lb I'm really confused on how to trust a vet in my area . Could you please let me know the signs of weakness or getting sick .

When puppies are sick they usually start with just laying around more and not as playful. They can progress to vomiting or diarrhea or no appetitive. Some have respiratory signs such as coughing or sneezing. Some larger puppies can have a vitamin D deficiency from not enough sunlight and have too much flexion in their joints... maybe it was something like that he noticed? Maybe he was imply he could get sick by walking around the neighborhood without being fully vaccinated yet due to his age? If you are not noticing any changes and he checked out well at your vet visits, then I would not worry what someone told you in passing unless they can explain
