Is it safe to buy cat dry food from an opened sack or sealed bag?

Hi, I am curious about my cat's dry food. I've been feeding Orieo dry food from an opened sack of dry food. Sometimes the cat food has bugs, and it looks different so I put the dry food in an air tight container to make fresh. Know, I am just curious if is it safe to buy cat dry food from an opened sack, or should I just buy a cat food from a sealed bag?

Buying cat food from a sealed bag is definitely best. I don't recommend buying from an opened sack. You did a great job by putting the food in an airtight container and I would keep doing that after you open a sealed sack to keep the food stored fresh. Hope this helps. Great question!
