Hiya I have a 4 month old rex rabbit I've had him for 2 weeks now and tonight I let him out for a run round in the living room and now he seems to be limping he won't put his one leg down he hasn't done anything to hurt it he didn't knock it or land funny on it nothing he let me pick him up and touch it I had a feel around and he didn't jerk it away or react in any kind of way that it was painful I put him back down and he seemed unsettled and restless he has now taken to his bed hidden away

Poor Nibbles! It sounds like he's injured his leg or paw. If you can't find any injury, and he is still limping tomorrow, he needs to see your exotics veterinarian. I recommend xrays of the leg to make sure it's not broken. Rabbits are very stoic creatures and since they are prey animals, they can be in excruciating pain and usually don't demonstrate this. You may need to ask for pain medication for him even if you don't find anything wrong on xrays. I use Metacam/meloxicam all the time in rabbits, so this is very reasonable to ask for. Good luck with your little bun!
