Why is my cat's face swollen and red below its jaw? Is it serious?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 10 months old

My cat is having reddish swelling below right side of the face..no other difficulties for cat.

Poor Poos. I would recommend taking Poos to the vet to have her faced examined. She is a little young to have dental issues like a tooth root abscess but it is always possible. The most likely would be infection or an abscess. However anytime red in color is mentioned it is important to make sure it is not a bruise which might be a blood issue. I think a vet visit is best for Poos. I hope that helps
