I am sorry to hear about Jack. What to do for a "tummy ache" depends on the actual symptoms/duration/severity. If your dog is energetic and his belly is not painful, and he isn't vomiting repeatedly you can try offering a bland food such as cooked plain white rice and boiled shredded chicken breast or lean ground beef. If your dog is having repeated vomiting, is refusing to eat, is weak/lethargic, has pale gums, has blood in his vomit or stool, then these would be reasons to seek veterinary care right away.
