My dog ate human meds. Why is he vomiting and pooping tar?

Pet's info: Dog | Silky Terrier | Male | unneutered | 7 years and 11 months old | 10 lbs

Hello, my mother gave my dog anti inflammatory pill for his leg. But human anti inflammatory. Now my dog is vomiting dark brown for 1 day. I gave him some pedialyte and boil chicken. Now he stop vomiting the next day. But today I walked him and his stool looks like tar. He didn’t poop like that the first day of eating the anti inflammatory. I plan on taking him tomorrow for a check up.

That class of medicines have potential to cause a GI ulcers which can cause vomiting and dark stool (digested blood) Taking him to the vet is the best option sonthey can also run blood work to check the kidneys as that can also be a side effect of that class of medicine. They have several different components to help with ulcers and preventing further damage. Feedings a bland diet of boiled chicken and rice is best until you can take him in
