Why is my dog's tick bite bump growing & she's acting clingy?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | spayed | 8 years and 6 months old | 12 lbs

My dog was recently bitten by a tick (it was fully removed) and the bump on her head has become larger she has also become quite clingy is their anything that could be wrong with her

Ticks can transmit disease that can cause a fever and joint pain. They can also cause a lot of inflammation and an infection from just the attachment site and the bite itself. I would recommend getting her seen by a vet since it is getting larger to see if it is infected and needs antibiotics
