Hello. Itching is an indication of either parasites ( fleas, ear mites, mange mites, lice ), an allergic reaction ( inhaled, environmental, food, military dermatitis ), or psychological ( psychogenic alopecia, hyperesthesia syndrome ). It would be very difficult to discuss all of these in a forum like this, but your veterinarian can determine pretty quickly what the cause might be & recommend medications, or treatments to give Teddy some relief. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Take care.
