Pet's info: Dog | Pomeranian | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 12 days old
Hi, I will get a Pomeranian puppy next week at his 8 weeks. I'm lookink for a good natural food to feed him. There are so many brands and so many options that I really get confused between raw food air dried, grain free, etc. Could you advise me what are the best options for him?? I don't want to give him the wrong food or an articial one. Thanks

Grain free is more hype than science... so it is no necessary to start or worry about tag. Raw diets are not safe as dogs are susceptible of bacterial infections such as salmonella and E. coli like we are, and even you can get it from handling the food...not worth the risk to anyone. Purina, royal canin, and science diet have the most research behind their products for both ingredients and safety. Your new puppy will need to be on a small bites puppy forumla due to his size. Any food within those brands is good quality. They do have some natural formulas for you to choose from also
