Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Yes! Dogs can cats have their own version of the common cold! Though we are not 100% sure if humans and dogs share the same colds. Signs of a cold in dogs are sneezing, nasal discharge (that is clear) and sometimes coughing. If Jake isn't feeling well (not eating, lethargic) it might be best to have your Vet check him to see if he has a fever. I hope you find this helpful and I wish Jake the best!
