My dog has red, irritated lips. What's wrong and what should I do?

My dog has some sort of redness and irritation around her lips. What could it be?

Is there anything she could have chewed on to cause that inflammation in the corners, mainly electrical cords? It seems very raw and blistered but does not appear infected by that picture. All you can do is clean the area with soap and water as any other topicals will just get ingested. If it is not better in a day or so take her to your vet for an exam to see why it is not clearing
