My dog is suddenly stiff, in pain, and won't eat. What's wrong?

My dog Max is 5 years old. He is acting weird today. He is hanging his head his tail is tucked he is walking as if he is stiff or in pain.. sort of limping but not on any one particular limb. He is not eating like normal either. He is a boxer/great Dane mix. He was fine when we went to bed last night, when we woke up this morning he was like this. We thought he may just be feeling I'll but all day he has been this way as the day went on he appears to maybe be in pain but in no particular area.

Poor Max. I’m sorry he’s not feeling well. Im suspicious from what I see in the picture that his neck or back hurts. If he is not back to normal tomorrow then I would recommend that he be evaluated by a veterinarian. Then they can decide if dog safe pain medication is appropriate for him or if other diagnostics should be done. I hope he improves quickly.
