When should I bathe my pet and how do I dry them after their bath?

Do I need to dry them after bath or they dry themselves? Also what part of the day is best to bath them? Can I bath them in morning when there is little of sun? Pet's info: Bird | Unknown - Bird | Male | 7 months and 2 days old | 35 lbs

Hello, thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. It is always best to bathe in the morning where a little sun will help to dry them. You can initially gently dry them with a soft towel, & perhaps dry them a bit with a hair dryer on very low moving the nozzle constantly. But then put them in a spot out of any breezes & let them preen themselves dry. They will appreciate this! Take care.
