My beagle puppy is vomiting, sleepy, and won't eat. When to see vet?

My Beagle puppy has vomitted twice and has not eaten properly today. He is partly active and mostly sleepy. The vomit is green-brown. Please advise if we need to give him ORS or something esle. Pet's info: Dog | Beagle | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 13 days old

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Bagel (GREAT name for a beagle!)! Since he is just 6 weeks old it is best to have a Vet take a look at him. When they are this young I worry about dehydration and low blood sugar. They can also deteriorate quickly. Causes of vomiting are: viral infections like parvovirus, intestinal parasites, dietary indiscretion (ate something gross), foreign body (something is stuck), food allergy or sensitivity. Your Vet may want you to bring a stool sample so they can check it for parasites, they may want to test for parvovirus and take X-rays of his belly.
