My Beagle puppy has vomitted twice and has not eaten properly today. He is partly active and mostly sleepy. The vomit is green-brown. Please advise if we need to give him ORS or something esle

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Bagel (GREAT name for a beagle!)! Since he is just 6 weeks old it is best to have a Vet take a look at him. When they are this young I worry about dehydration and low blood sugar. They can also deteriorate quickly. Causes of vomiting are: viral infections like parvovirus, intestinal parasites, dietary indiscretion (ate something gross), foreign body (something is stuck), food allergy or sensitivity. Your Vet may want you to bring a stool sample so they can check it for parasites, they may want to test for parvovirus and take X-rays of his belly. I hope this helps and I wish Bagel a speedy recovery!
