My 8 yr old German Shepherd is losing weight, His coat isn't full , and he is licking his back to the point of bleeding at times. Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | neutered | 8 years old | 100 lbs

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. If Titan is losing weight, I would suggest having his blood work run especially at his age. Ideally, at this age he should have a blood panel run every 12 months. A veterinarian really should examine him to take a look at his skin and perform blood work for further answers as to what this could be. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction.
