How to keep my rabbit safe from loud Diwali fireworks and noise?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Small Animal | Rabbit | Female

We have a rabbit and we have heard that during diwali, crackers and noise lead to heart failure and internal bleeding in some cases as rabbits are very sensitive to noise and their heart is weak. How can we protect our rabbit during diwali

Rabbits should not die or bleed due to loud noise. However is a rabbit is overly stressed it put pressure on there heart just like people. I would recommend keeping Shona inside in a warm environment with her normal food and water. You can also provide her with a house to hide in. This should allow her proper protection from the noise. Hope that helps
