Why does my 19-year-old cat have sore lesions on her chest and leg?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 13 lbs

My cat has skin lesions on her chest. Looks so sore. She's like 19 years old. What could it possibly be? It's also going down her one leg.

I am not sure what is the cause of this skin lesion but it looks very infected, you need to take her to the vet today in order to get it checked, she will need a course of antibiotics for that. because of her age it might be a good idea to have a blood test done just to make sure there isn't an internal disease in the background as well.
