Hi there I'm looking for easy advice on how to feed my 6 week old kitten when we were given him we were told he was 5 weeks old and he was ready to leave mom he was in pretty rough shape when I saw him and I was concerned so I took him to the vet the vet said he looked about 3 weeks and to give him kmr which I was every 6 hrs and he weighed only nine ozs now he's 6 weeks and I'm unsure on what his feeding schedule should be right now it's every 6 hrs feeding solid first am and last at night kmr

It sounds like he is under weight, so I reccomend continuing the kmr every 6 hours for at-least two more weeks. Leave out kitten kibble for him at all times. If he is eating this well in two weeks, then you can incrementally reduce the amount of kmr feedings over the following week and hopefully wean him off by the end of that week. I hope that helps and hope all is well with Od.
