My budgie is making strange rasping noises and molting. What's wrong?

My Budgie has started making a rasping, squeaky type noise intermittently. Sometimes when just sitting,sometimes when eating and sometimes when flying. He looks okay but has started to moult a lot. Pet's info: Bird | Unknown - Bird | Male

I would recommend taking Neilly to a vet for a food physical exam. Birds always concern me when they are acting abnormal. The abnormal noise could be secondary to molting or a behavioral changes but it could also be a sign of an upper respiratory infection. I think it is best to have Neilly examined. I hope that helps
