Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 14 days old
I found this kitten that appears to be around 2-3 weeks old. The mother won't take care of it or feed it so we took it in, however no matter how often or how much we feed her she continuously cries. Why is this and what should we do with her?

Has she pooped? Mothers lick their rear ends to stimulate them to defecate. You may want to take a warm damp wash cloth and try to gently wash her rear end. Also kittens at that age are used to snuggling with their warm litter mates. Snuggling her up close to you it with a stuffed animal may help as well. Good luck to both of you!
