Why is my new rescue dog not eating, coughing, and having diarrhea?

Hello, I just got a welsh corgi that is 2 years old from a recue shelter and I have only had him for the weekend. He is not eating that much, only had a few bites of his food this morning and has dihhrea amd coughing that sounds like he's trying to hack something up

He is probably suffering from a condition called kennel cough, it's quite common in rescues, the lack of appetite could be due to the disease or due to the change of environment, the diarrhea is probably not related to the infection i mentioned before. i would recommend taking him to the vet tomorrow for a full checkup, he might need some medications to treat his problems.
