My cat has pancreatitis and vomits on Prednisone. See a vet?

Pet's info: Cat | Manx | Female | spayed | 15 years and 4 months old | 9 lbs

Michiko has chronic pancreatitis and I need to know what to do for her. She gets Prednisone every other day but still vomits dry food about twice a week. Should she go to the vet? What else can I do?

Yes she should. Low fat diet ideally should be provided as a regular diet. I would strongly suggest to have her checked by your veterinarian as well as chronic administration of steroids could be potentially the cause of persistent vomiting. Please do not hesitate to contact us again on the forum or by requesting a consultation if you have any more questions or to discuss it any further.
