Why is my Dalmatian weak, has ticks, low hemoglobin, and can't bark?

Pet's info: Dog | Dalmatian | Male | unneutered | 5 years and 10 months old | 58 lbs

i have a dalmation, and i doubt he us suffering from IMHA but he also has alot of ticks on his body though i wash him regularly with medicated shampoo. Also his hemoglobin level has decreased severely and he is unable to bark. What is he suffering from ?

The hemolytic anemia is possibly secondary to the presence of ticks and infective diseases secondary to it (Babesia, Ehrlichia).Hemoglobin is lower than normal as part of the HA possibly. A clinical examination and blood tests at your local veterinarian are essential to confirm these clinical suspicions and treat appropriately. Antibiotics and/or immunosuppressive meds may be needed to treat IMHA.
