My dog barks in the ATV when stopped, but not when moving. Why?

Why does my dog bark & bark when he sits in the ATV but stops barking when the driver starts driving?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! The barking may be due to anxiety or a reaction to something in his environment. When the ATV is moving he is likely being distracted by this which is causing him to stop barking. Have a good night!
