My puppy ate a tiny piece of ceramic. Should I take her to the vet?

Hello. My name is Jose Mendoza. I have a two month old German Shepherd. She ate a tiny piece of ceramic from her food bowl. We were able to remove a piece from her mouth but there is still a missing tiny piece which we fear she ate. I would appreciate advice as to what I can do. Thank you.

Hello Jose! If she ate a tiny piece, Nola will likely be just fine. A very tiny piece will typically pass on it's own without a problem, and there's no need to worry. If you do see some blood in her feces, it could be that this piece may have done some damage to her GI tract on the way out, and then I would have her seen by a vet. I hope this helps!
