My senior dog has a deep wound, but isn't licking it. Vet needed?

My 10-year-old dog Lucke, has a deep wound on his back right quarter. He is not scratching, licking or biting at it. Pet's info: Dog | Rat Terrier | Male | neutered | 10 years and 10 months old | 25 lbs

Ouch, poor Lucke! Thank you for providing pictures of his wound. From the picture, it looks like it could benefit from a stitch or two to help it heal properly. I would take him into a vet right away so the wound can be cleaned and stitched. I hope this helps!
