My senior dog has a deep wound, but isn't licking it. Vet needed?

Pet's info: Dog | Rat Terrier | Male | neutered | 10 years and 10 months old | 25 lbs

My 10-year-old dog Lucke, has a deep wound on his back right quarter. He is not scratching, licking or biting at it.

Ouch, poor Lucke! Thank you for providing pictures of his wound. From the picture, it looks like it could benefit from a stitch or two to help it heal properly. I would take him into a vet right away so the wound can be cleaned and stitched. I hope this helps!
