My senior Shih Tzu has a bloated belly. Is it constipation or GDV?

I have a 13 year old shih tzu with a bloated belly. I think she is constipated or suffering from GDV... I went to hospital but didn't have enough for initial exam. Now I'm sitting in my car crying. Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Female | unspayed | 13 years and 2 months old | 25 lbs

It's probably not GDV, small breeds like Shih Tzus very rarely develop this condition (i have never seen one). nevertheless she is probably suffering from a serious condition, it might not be as urgent as GDV but it is still pretty urgent and you need to get it treated. try a dog charity in your area of living, they might be able to point you to a free clinic.
