Where can pet parents find resources to learn canine anatomy at home?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

I am going to start going to Vet Tech school. I was wondering if you had any suggestions on how I can go about studying canine anatomy from home. Are there recommended textbooks or computer software I can purpose in order to learn canine anatomy from home?

Here are some book recommendations: Miller's Anatomy of the Dog Guide to the Dissection of the Dog Here is a free online anatomy site: http://www.cvmbs.colostate.edu/vetneuro/ You may also call your school for their book list. Good luck!
