Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 4 months and 9 days old | 8 lbs
My kitten, four months old has developed a persistent sneezing. It's been several days. We noticed fleas two weeks ago, put a flea collar on her. She started sneezing shortly after the application of the collar. We have removed the collar two days ago but the sneezing is getting worse

Patches likely has an upper respiratory infection. It is very common in young kittens. It is usually viral related but antibiotics need to be given to prevent a secondary bacterial infection. She should see your vet for this issue. Also, flea collars (except the ones you can get at the vet) are virtually useless. You are much better off using a topical flea prevention that goes on the back of her neck like Advantage, Revolution or Pet Armor. Talk to your vet about this and they can recommend something for you. Really, the flea collar is also not a great idea in cats in general because if they get it caught on something they will choke as it will not break easily. Hope this helps.
