My puppy sleeps a lot, sneezes, and shakes head. Should I worry?

My rescue puppy has been sleeping a lot since we got him. Have noticed him sneezing today and his head shaking. Should i be comcerned? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | 0 lbs

Puppies should sleep more than an adult, so it could be normal for Kai. Sneezing could be an indicator of allergies or upper respiratory infection. If there is any discharge, I would recommend that Kai get checked out by a vet. If the head shaking occurs near a sneezing episode, it could be from the itchy feeling that comes before a sneeze. However, if it occurs at other times, it could be the sign of neurologic disease, hypoglycemia (which may also cause lethargy), something down in the ear, among a few others. If this occurs and is not associated with a sneeze, I would take Kai to the vet as soon as possible.
