I would leave a dish of water out at least once a week so they can bathe themselves, but they make doing it more frequently. You can leave a dish of water out two or three times a week for them. I hope this helps!

You can offer a bath every couple of days. A shallow tray in the floor of their cage may offer a chance for bathing without having to take them out. Just only put it in for bath time and remove when done so there isn't dirty water sitting in the cage. Or some birds appreciate a gentle mist of warm water from a spray bottle. What should i do if my budgies aren't having a bath ???
Not all birds will bathe all the time or even enjoy taking a bath. You can set a dish of clean shallow water in the cage and give them a chance to check it out and bathe themselves. Some birds also enjoy being misted with a cool spray bottle (not directly aimed at them) instead of a bath. However, if your birds are otherwise clean and healthy, I wouldn't worry too much.

You should NEVER bath your budgie actively, you should only provide her a water dish on the bottom of the cage, wide enough for her to have a bath on her own, if she wants or need to bath herself she will do it, you should never try to physically bath her or help her bath herself.

They don't necessarily need a bath every day, but it's best to give them a bath every day. This is good, because it helps keep their feathers free from dirt and debris that can cause skin problems. You can definitely use a warm water mist from a spray bottle and see if your budgie enjoys it. If he moves away or acts scared, it may be a little too much for him. The water should be warm enough to be comfortable, but not too hot it burns. Testing it on yourself first is smart. Another option is to place a shallow dish filled with warm water in it for your budgie to bathe himself. Most budgies enjoy having a bath to play in. The water should be changed daily or as needed if it becomes dirty.

Do not bath your birds, but offer them a larger shallow dish with water so they can take a bath themselves. There is no need to clean the feathers that turned orange, eventually that will fade, it is not detrimental. Do not clip their wings and be patient. eventually they will be tame.

You should not bath your budgie actively, only provide a container with water at the bottom of the cage and he will bath himself if he wants to. keep an eye on that sneezing, if it doesn't resolve within 2-3 days- take him to the vet to get it treated.

I want some tips to keep my budgies disease free.
The most important thing is the diet, you should feed him bird pellets rather than seed mix, which is very bad for his health. make sure you clean the cage every day and change the water every day as well. keep him away from extreme temperature, they are mostly sensitive to cold.

My budgie is loosing some of it's fluffs and it is feeling a bit of itchy I think is he alright? What should I do to prevent it?
Bathe or mist him daily with warm water to encourage preening and to promote healthy plumage. If the itching or feather loss worsens, have him examined by your veterinarian to diagnose infection or parasites. Clean and sanitize the cage, bowls, toys and perches. Discard anything that cannot be sanitized. Change the cage paper daily.

If I mist my budgies for their baths. Can I do it in the cage?
Yes. You can just spray through the cage bars. Use warm water in the spray bottle and set it on a fine mist setting. You may want to remove their food first so r doesn't get wet and I usually change papers in my birds' cages after misting because wet and poop covered papers will stink or may grow mold etc. just spray threw the bars and see how they react. The may move away at first then come back. Or it may take seve days or sessions to become used to it. Some birds never like it but others love their spray bottle baths.
