Why is my dog's neck hard and lumpy with a swollen mouth?

I have a neighborhood dog that showed up with a hugh i mean hugh knot on side of neck. It is not soft but hard. His side of mouth is swollen too. Worried about him. Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | unneutered

Poor Bud! That swelling is huge! He needs to see a vet immediately for it. He could have injured himself, he could have dental problems causing the swelling, or he could have a severe infection. That swelling definitely isn't normal and needs to be evaluated by a vet. I would take him into one asap.
