My dog won't eat dog food. We have gone to the vet for this a couple of times and we're told he is just being picky and to feed him boiled chicken and rice, which he will eat. However, when we start adding kibble in, he stops eating it. He will refuse to eat for 3 or 4 days at a time if we try to add kibble. I've never let him go longer than the 4th day before I cave and make him chicken and rice. I worry he's not getting enough nutrients though. Is there a vitamin I can give him also?

You could use the website called BalanceIt and pick the ingredients that you will use in your diet. You can then purchase a supplement that will make the diet nutritionally balanced for your dog. https://secure.balanceit.com/
