Pet's info: Dog | Jack Russell Terrier | Female | unspayed | 5 years and 8 months old | 13 lbs
Meg started limping one week ago. Treated with loxicom for sprain. Developed lethargy shivering swollen mammory glands. Advised phantom pregnancy. Coughing and falling over ultrasound fluids tummy and high temp infection unknown. Treated for lungworm but unsure of this. Started on anti biotics. Still lethargic. Sleeping all day. Not able to go up or down stairs. Unsteady gait. I carried her into the garden she started coughing went to move and fell not faint. No attempt to get up. Please help!

I'm sure you are very worried about Meg. It sounds like she needs continued care/ follow up with your veterinarian. Possibly even hospitalization wth IV fluids and IV antibiotics. Has she had a chest X-ray? Other causes of infection in an unspayed female could me a pyometra (uterine infection). Has blood work been run yet? If not that may be important to gain more insight. With your description I am very concerned. Please take her to an emergency clinic or you veterinarian as soon as possible. I hope she improves soon.
