I do strongly recommend you get x-rays at least 45 days after Bailey is mated. That will confirm she is pregnant, and how many puppies she is expecting. You never know if there could be problems giving birth, so save money now in case she needs an emergency c section. That can cost thousands. You have plenty of time to save, as dogs should never be bred on their first heat. You should wait until her second, or better yet, third heat. The cost of the stud dog will vary, you need to speak with people with stud dogs to find out a cost. Finally, it's fine to breed her as a mix breed.
