I recommend having Tazzie examined by a veterinarian first before starting an antibiotic. A red spot under the nose could be an infections but it would also be a tumor, allergic reaction, ringworm, or benign growth. Starting antibiotics if there isn't any infection can lead to serious issues like bacterial resistance and problems in the future for Tazzie. Also Clavamox frequently causes stomach upset so you don't want to give it to Tazzie unless necessary. Your veterinarian can check a sample from under the nose and decide if antibiotics are needed and if necessary what kind of antibiotics should be used. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach and good luck to you and Tazzie!
