My dog has a large open wound on her paw that she licked open and continues to lick. I can see her paw is swollen. What do I do? Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund | Female | spayed | 13 lbs

you will need to take Faith to the vet in the morning, it's probably already infected and will require an antibiotic course. in order to prevent her from licking the vet will also recommend an e-collar to put around her neck for at least a few days.
