My iguana's skin is turning dark green/black. What does it mean?

I’ve had my iguana for 2 week, he’s Approximately 2 months old and over the past 3 days his skin has started getting really dark green almost black, what does this mean?

Check the basking temperature and temps on the cool and warm sides. The darkening color may be due to low temps. An iguana will darken, when necessary, to absorb the maximum amount of available heat.
