What to do if my 7-week-old pit mastiff puppy has pus in its eye?

My sister-in-law has a pit mastiff puppy that is 7 weeks old but have left on his left eye and she said that has pus coming out of it on it turning she says that has pus coming out of it what is that. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 12 days old | 10 lbs
