Can you still let your puppy if he has coccidia? Can he still lay around the house?

Hello, and thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. It seems your first sentence is missing a word in the middle, so I'm not sure what you'd specifically like to let your puppy do. However, it is fine to let Dak continue his normal activities, including socializing and laying around the house. The main precaution when you're treating him for Coccidia is to promptly clean up his stool outside - which is always recommended, but particularly important while a dog is being treated for intestinal parasites, to minimize the risk of contaminating the soil and reinfecting him or another animal. It is recommended to have your veterinarian recheck a fecal sample 2-3 weeks after treating to make sure Dak's coccidia have been cleared. Hope this helps!
