The Parvo vaccination only works before infection to help create antibodies to help prevent the infection. After a dog is infected with Parvo, the vaccination doesn't have any effect, because the immune system is already working as hard as it can against the virus. The vaccination does not have the ability to improve the immune system after infection. I hope that was helpful. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
