Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | spayed

My 14 yr old lab has a huge solid lump on her side that was originally diagnosed as fatty tissue. She will be 15 next month and has other lumps and warts. She has a yukky odour and keeps urinating on her bed, some nights her breathing sounds awful, her back legs are temperamental, shes always tired

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. It sounds like jaidee has multiple problems going on. The inappropriate urination and odor could indicate a urinary tract infection. The breathing could indicate respiratory disease and her back legs seem like they are weak from arthritis / muscle loss from age. I would recommend having her veterinarian take a look at her. I would recommend her blood be tested to see if there are any systemic changes going on, a urine sample checked for infection and chest x-rays performed as well. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. I am also available via consultation if needed.
