Dog not eating after illness. Should I switch to canned dog food?

My dog refuses to eat his daily food for 4 days, he only eats a little, we went to the vet alrdy and he had fever so the doctor said that probably becos of the fever. But he is all good now, we gave him his meds, too. But he is still not eating. But he eats other treats and dog snacks. Should i change his food to canned dog food? Since he is not eating chicken and rice that we normally give him. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | unneutered | 17 lbs

It shouldn't be a problem to switch Cointhee to all canned food if this is what he is willing to eat. Canned food will be better balanced then chicken and rice so it's definitely the preferred option.
