Is hamburger meat safe for my dog to eat as an occasional treat?

Can my dog have hamburger meat as a special treat? Why or why not?

Yes, that's fine. Most dogs tolerate beef well. If she vomits after eating it, or diarrhea is noted within three days, then she may not tolerate it well. This can happen either due to it being too rich, or a food allergy (not that common). This does have a fair amount of calories though, so I always reccomend you account for these types of treats by feeding a little less of their dog food. This will help prevent obesity, which is a common problem with dogs in the U.S. I hope that helps.
