Is my dog underweight on a raw diet? How can I help him gain weight?

Pet's info: Dog | Bichon Frise | Male | unneutered | 2 years and 1 month old

My dog was 6 kg.. Switched to raw diet went down to 5kg.. But now gradually going down to 4.5kg.. Is he under weight? How to make him get back to 5kg? Also he whines a lot before I give him food

I see Jay Junior is a Bichon Frise. They can weigh between 3-5kg, so at 4.5kg he may be at a healthy weight for his size. I recommend checking his body condition score using the website I provide below, and that will help you see if he is underweight or not. You can feed him more if you want to get him back to 5kg, but only increase his diet a little bit as you don't want to overfeed him. He may whine a lot before feeding because he's hungry.
