Dog stressed by move, won't eat kibble. How to get her to eat?

Pet's info: Dog | Poodle | Female | spayed | 4 years and 11 months old | 34 lbs

Hi, my Merida is going through a lot of stress. We are moving into a rental house and new people are coming to help, and it smells like dogs. She has been refusing to eat, unless it is human food. Are there any ways to make her eat her food without forcing it down her throat? Also, can you give me some home made poodle friendly allergy friendly no P.B. recipes for dogs? Thanks!

Offer a canned food that has a strong odor. Warming it slightly, mixing in a teaspoon of baby food or mixing in water from a can of tuna may stimulate her appetite. A pheromone product such as Feliway spray or plug in diffuser may decrease any anxiety related to the move. An "allergy friendly" diet would be difficult to recommend without knowing everything your dog has allergies against. What you can do is discuss allergy testing and hydrolyzed diets with your veterinarian. Read ingredient labels for possible allergens.
