My 5-week-old puppy has pink flesh coming out of her butt. What is it?

I got my 5 week old puppy 4 days ago and have been slowly moving her onto puppy chow by soaking her food in water till is mushy but I have noticed a pink flesh poking out of her butt and I'm concerned.. please help

This is the beginning of a rectal prolapse. This is usually due to straining to poop due to parasites. I recommend bringing Jay Crowe to your veterinarian to have this examined and treated. They will check a fecal sample for parasites and give her the correct deworming medication. She will need several deworming treatments to get rid of the parasites. If needed they will lubricate the red area and push it back inside. A rectal prolapse can become very large and is a serious problem that should be treated soon.
