My cat's surgery incision has blood, stitches missing. Is it healing?

Hi, My cat Lucas got surgery 3 days ago and last night I let him sleep in room by himself for an hour or so. When I came back in his cone was off and the bed had a tiny stain of blood. Earlier that day he was really hyper and I couldn’t stop him from jumping off desk. I don’t know if either of these things had anything to do with it but it looks like a few stitches are missing? Does this look like it’s healing properly? Or should I be concerned? Thank you so much!

The photo didn't come through. A small amount of spotting can be normal and generally the incisions on cats heal quickly even if they open up a little. As long as he's eating and acting normal I'm not overly concerned about this. Keeping the cone on will prevent his licking the area and it will heal more quickly. Should the incision look very red or have a bad odor then I would take him back to have it checked. I expect though that it will improve every day. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to help you care for Lucas.
