Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! There are many conditions that can result in vomiting and diarrhea and they go from dietary indiscretion which may resolve on its own to systemic diseases such as inflammatory bowel disease or pancreatitis, among others. I recommend that you have Sammie evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. At the very least they can check his hydration status and give him medications to make him feel better. Good luck and have a nice day!

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Vomiting and diarrhea can be observed with conditions such as gastroenteritis, gastrointestinal ulcer, pancreatitis, dietary indiscretion, gastrointestinal foreign body ingestion and obstruction, among other possibilities. The blood in the vomit and the dark stools are very concerning as that can be seen when there is significant gastrointestinal disease. For this reason, I highly recommend that you have Logan evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment as soon as possible as I am afraid he is likely becoming dehydrated. They would be able to check for these possibilities and also check his hydration status and give him medications to make him feel better. Good luck!
