My cat has grey eye goo but no other symptoms. Should I be concerned?

My cat has had grey goo in the corner of his eye for almost 24 hours his eyes are not itchy or squinty or runny

Hi and thanks for your question on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Grey goo near the eye with no other signs of inflammation such as redness of eye or yellow/green discharge, squinting the eye or pawing at the eye, it is nothing to worry about especially if it is a small amount. If it gets worse or if other signs are seen as mentioned above, you may want to take her into her veterinarian for an eye exam.
